Getting to the Astor Chamonix is quick and easy. These companies are well established in the Chamonix Valley: Alpybus Chamexpress Chamvan EASY BUS

<<< TOP TIPS >>>

EASYBUS:

The Easybus is the cheapest transfer company. There is a bus every 1 - 2 hours, it takes 1 hour 15 mins which is basically as quick as you can drive it and costs as little as 5 Euros per journey! The Easy Bus only drops off and picks up at the bus station in Chamonix Sud, luckily this is only a 7 mins walk with your luggage from the Astor! Book early to get the best prices. HOWEVER, you do have to pre pay for your transfers so if you get a delay of over an hour you may lose your money, as they state they will only guarantee travel on the next available service. We don't know how strict they are on this but please bear it in mind.

ALPYBUS:

This is our current favourite transfer company that collects and drops off at the apartment door. If you pre book on the net you get the cheapest transfers for any similar service, and you DON'T have to pre-pay meaning that you simply just jump on the next available shuttle at no extra cost if you get delayed. The cost is usually around 25 euros per person, each way. If getting a transfer we always use this service.
